Sliced Orange ASKS what is next?
In August, we aided Phonethics Mobile Media of Mumbai, India in producing their logistics challenenged piece for ASK Wealth Management. Saurabh Gupta and Vikram Russell, of Phonethics were tasked with accomplishing an incredibly challenging advertising film for their client on extreme time limitations. After much consultation and planning, they came to Bangkok, along with director, Ayhan Ghanim, and shot their film in just two days.

The first day, we started in Pattaya, about two hours south of Bangkok, on an Azimut 46 sport yacht, then switched to Bangkok for exteriors at a mansion. With the great efforts of Gearhead Thailand in supporting us with their gear and crew expertise, we made the logistical switch in only a few hours and managed to shoot these remote locations in one day to satisfaction. That evening, we were off to Khao Yai and a shoot the next morning at the lovely, Chateau de Khaoyai and back in Bangkok before midnight. Three diverse and demanding locations in just two days. The spot is now on the air in India.

Sliced Orange kicks it into gear on CGI projects for MRF of India and EXO Soap of India.

In the spring of 2009, we were given boards by two separate clients for demanding CGI and motion graphics pieces. One was a full on CGI animation spot that had to interact with live action for Sign of Life Productions in Chennai's client, EXO Soap. Little gooey men emering from bacteria being defeated at the hands of Captain Exo. Oh, to feel like a kid again. It was a great job, a great client and all around good fun. After that, we turned to more grown-up fun, creating motion graphics for Indian tire magnet, MRF. They are a sponsor of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship and needed a 10 sec piece, complete with music to promote the show they co-sponsered. With a far more grown up theme than gooey bacteria men, it came out exceptionally smooth and was well received by all concerned.

Sliced Orange is in development of feature film project, Soi Dogs
Sliced Orange has joined with producer, Dean O'Toole, and signed an option on the script, Soi Dogs, to develop it into a feature film to be shot in Thailand. Currently being polished by script guru, David Ransil, the script will be ready for production in 2009. Pending talent commitments, it should go before cameras sometime in late March.

We are also proud to have consulting producers, Adam Bohling and David Reid involved in this unique story that will change the view many people have of expatriates around the world.

Sliced Orange finishes post project for Cloudnine Films of Karachi
Sliced Orange with the invaluable help of the talented team from Arthouse VFX in Vietnam. Michael Do, the creative director and owner of Arthouse, helped us take this CGI project from board inception to a successful delivery for a client who for the first time, chose to do his CGI work somewhere other than Pakistan. Director, Aamir Malick, owner of Cloudnine Films, presented us and Michael with a challenge to create something new for the market, then gave us the freedom to make it happen.

Along with Michael and his team, we took on the challenge and delivered thirteen shots that were the heart of a :45 second piece for Brite Soap and the Pakistan market. With the help of the committed team at The Post Bangkok we were able to deliver the demanding job on time. Aamir and Michael, working with colorist Nick Barton and Flame artist, Viwat Suksakorn, created a look not yet seen in the Pakistan market.
